ENDOLESER VEIN SYSTEM (ELVes)

It is similar to RF VNUS ablation, except that a Laser generates the energy to destroy the vein.
The literature has shown that this method is less effective, has higher complication rate and more uncomfortable than VNUS Radio ablation.

However in good hands this treatment has shown as good results as other forms of treatment.
Complications:

Are rare, whatever the method of treatment, provided operated by surgeon with experience in vein surgery.

They include bleeding, Infection, recurrence of varicose veins, Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and very rarely damage to a nerve which is very close to the vein.
